Plans & Access

Understand Free, Pro, Max, Network, feature visibility, direct route protection, and safe upgrade paths.

Plans And Feature Access

Church-Ops Africa plans are designed to keep churches useful from day one while protecting advanced ministry operations behind the right level of access.

Plan Overview

Plan Best For Main Access
Free Churches beginning with clean records People, households, guests, ministries, groups, imports, and smart people lists
Pro Churches running weekly ministry operations Free plus care, member portal, worship and gatherings, communications, forms, finance, documents, and offline tools
Max Churches ready for the full operating system Pro plus campaigns, advanced finance, advanced forms, automations, intelligence, website builder, children ministry, assets, and advanced insights
Network Associations and multi-church rollouts Max-level access with a scoped multi-church rollout model

Free

Free focuses on the People foundation. Churches can organize member records, households, guests, ministries, small groups, imports, and saved people lists without a member-count cap.

Free does not include the member portal, communications, finance, care workflows, worship planning, forms, automations, intelligence, public website tools, or advanced reporting.

Pro

Pro is for churches that need weekly ministry operations to work together.

Included modules:

  • People and households.
  • Care, prayer, pastoral care, and tasks.
  • Member portal.
  • Worship and gatherings, including events, attendance, sermons, service planning, and song library.
  • Communications for direct, selected-recipient, team, care, assignment, and template-based messaging.
  • Forms, public links, QR codes, responses, and exports.
  • Finance core: giving, income, expenses, categories, receipts, and ordinary summaries.
  • Documents and offline tools.

Pro communications are still reliable. Outbox, history, delivery status, reply capture, retries, and deduplication should not be treated as premium-only reliability features.

Max

Max is the full single-church operating system.

Max adds:

  • Campaigns and Opportunities Queue.
  • Advanced forms workflows, approvals, analytics, and integrations.
  • Advanced finance reports, budgets, approvals, signatories, forecasting, and board-ready report packets.
  • Children ministry operations with stronger child-safety controls.
  • Automations and ministry rhythm templates.
  • Church Intelligence.
  • Website builder, blog, SEO tools, public PWA mode, portal builder, and custom pages.
  • Assets and facilities management.
  • Advanced analytics and operational reports.

Network

Network is for associations, conventions, dioceses, movements, and multi-church structures.

Network should not expose platform Tower tools to customer churches. It should provide a scoped network layer with tenant-safe oversight, church switching, shared templates, consolidated reporting, rollout controls, and permissions that never leak one church's data to another church.

Feature Overrides

Platform admins can grant a specific feature to a church on a lower plan. Overrides should be precise, auditable, and reversible.

Examples:

  • A Free church may receive temporary access to finance core.
  • A Pro church may receive temporary access to advanced forms.
  • A Max church may receive a special rollout feature before Network is fully activated.

Overrides do not delete or migrate data. They only change whether the church can access a feature.

What Happens When A Feature Is Not Included

If a church does not have access to a feature:

  • The sidebar should not show that module.
  • Direct URLs should be blocked with a clear plan-access message.
  • Background jobs should avoid sending or running unavailable advanced actions.
  • Existing data should remain safe and should not be deleted.

Canonical Church Admin Sidebar

Church admin navigation should remain capability-aware and grouped by ministry workflow, not by implementation history. Each visible item should open its own real page, even when that page summarizes or coordinates related tools.

Current canonical groups:

  • Dashboard.
  • People: People Operations, Members, Households, Guests, Ministries, Small Groups, Children.
  • Care & Discipleship: Care Command, Pastoral Care, Prayer Wall, Tasks, Devotionals, Reading Plans, Care Reports.
  • Worship & Gatherings: Events, Attendance, Sermons, Service Planning, Song Library, Volunteer Teams.
  • Communications: Smart Composer, Conversations, Templates & Signatures, Outbox & History, Campaigns, Opportunities Queue, Communication Reliability.
  • Forms: Forms Dashboard, Form Builder, Templates Library, Responses, Form Workflows, Form Analytics.
  • Stewardship: Giving, Income & Expenses, Budgets, Finance Reports, Approvals & Signatories, Finance Settings.
  • Digital Presence: Member Portal, Website Builder, Blog, Public Forms, SEO & Domains.
  • Operations: Automations, Assets & Facilities, Documents, Import Center, Offline Desk, Audit Logs.
  • Intelligence: Church Assistant, Insights, Reports, Knowledge Sources, Assistant Settings.
  • Administration: Church Settings, Branding, Users & Roles, Security, Billing & Plan.

Safe Upgrade Path

The safest path is:

  1. Start with Free when the church mainly needs clean records.
  2. Move to Pro when the church needs member portal, care, communications, forms, finance, and weekly gatherings.
  3. Move to Max when the church needs campaigns, automations, advanced finance/forms, children ministry, intelligence, assets, and digital presence.
  4. Use Network for multi-church oversight with strict tenant isolation.
